ALL THE COLOURS (THE FEATURE)

ALL THE COLOURS is a coming-of-age crime story set in Brighton’s nocturnal underworld. Catalina, 18, escapes a religious cult and arranged marriage, only to be pulled into a different system of abuse in a city built on pleasure, intoxication and illusion.

The proof of concept short film has been completed and is currently in a successful festival run, earning BIFA qualifying status along the way. The feature is currently in active development as of 2026.

Due to go into production in Brighton this September.

Meet the Team

  • Leo De Haan

    Director

    Leo De Haan started in the film industry in the early ‘00s. He set up Black Bull Films, working with and providing creative content for established entertainment companies such as LoveFilm, Bill Kenwright Ltd and Amazon. During his journey Leo has worked with A-list actors and seasoned practitioners both nationally and abroad.

  • Jeremy Sheldon

    Producer

    Jeremy is a screenwriter and producer with 25 years’ experience in media and higher education working across a broad range of commercial genres. He began his film career reading scripts for Miramax, Working Title and Icon Entertainment. Subsequently, he has collaborated with some of the UK’s most successful producers.

  • Shakyra Dowling

    Casting Director

    Shakyra Dowling is a seasoned casting director with a deep understanding of the film and television industry. Having trained as an actor and worked in production, she launched her casting career in 2009 and has since become renowned for assembling exceptional casts across independent British features, European co-productions, television, and commercials.
